The tml is my favorite native tree species in central texas so naturally i want to bonsai it. I collected quite a few texas mountain laurel saplings from some wooded areas by my house. A few of them i plan on letting grow into full sized trees for my property but i was wondering if anyone has tried training one into a bonsai. They grow up to 15 maybe 20 ft.
It will produce very fragrant purple hanging flowers in early spring usually around late march to early april.
